Mental Health Monday - 06.20.22

Presence.

Being.

We can't achieve anything until we learn how to exist properly.

Easy, right?

Sure.

Are we our thoughts and our emotions?Are we our actions and their effects?Are we random protein chains and amino acids hurling through space in an ever-expanding universe we don't comprehend?Are we children of God?

Who are we?

Big questions. Too big for a Monday.

Would you believe me of I told you that in this moment, it doesn't matte? That yesterday and tomorrow are both memory and simulation ans that the only thing that matter is you, right now?

Take a breath.

In. Out.

Take another.

In. Out

One more.

Okay?

This is all that matters; being alive in the moment.

What's next? Well, that depends. Your body will tell you if it has needs, and I assure you, it does. You know that there are things in your life that require your attention, but you cannot properly attend to them of you don't learn  to stop living and start being.

We are more than a timeline. We are more than a beginning, middle, and end. We deserve intense attention and scrutiny. What exactly are we up to? What are our motivations? What kind of outcomes are we working towards?

All that starts with stopping and learning how to just exist, in our bodies, in our heads, in our lives, in this moment. Then, we can ease forward, or explode like a star. The choice is yours.

Learn to just Be.

Learn to be content just Being.

Let the world's influence fall away and lear  to focus on what's really important , which should be finding the best way to exist in this reality in which you find yourself, whatever framework of belief you choose to put it in.

Just Be.
